Rebecca Mothersole

Experience

I joined MDG in 2019 as a trainee with the aim to becoming a Chartered Financial Planner.  Along the way I have worked in admin and paraplanning, as well as a trainee adviser.  I achieved Diploma status and have continued my studies and became a Chartered Financial Planner in 2024.

From my different roles and exams, I have built up my knowledgebase of the different areas of financial planning in both an administrative and client-facing fashion and enjoyed helping clients make sense of their financial circumstances and planning for the future.

We pride ourselves on offering holistic financial advice, a tailored service to each client and their circumstances looking toward their long term objectives, and as such, most new clients are primarily referrals from existing clients who value our service.

How our advice process works

  • An initial meeting, conducted free of charge, gives you the opportunity to discuss the issues and concerns that you are seeking further advice on, and gives us an opportunity to meet and get to know each other.
  • I will then gather together both hard and soft financial facts about your personal and/or business circumstances, which will then be used to form the basis of any advice offered.
  • In order to provide any advice on investments or pensions, we will also need to discuss your attitude to investment risk.
  • Any subsequent advice will be presented to you in a report which we can then discuss, providing me with an opportunity to answer any questions you may have, before we proceed further.  This report is presented in an easy to understand, jargon-free format.
  • As both personal and business circumstances will continue to change, I offer regular reviews to ensure you stay on track to meet your short, medium or longer-term financial objectives.
